Is it worth it to purchase the UT2k4 SE rather than the Regular ?

Is it worth the drive to get the SE version since it's limited quantity ?
Would they make more SE versions ?

No they aren't making any more SE versions. Yes it's worth it for the extras and the fact that you don't have to juggle 6 CDs. It's just 1 DVD for the game and 1 DVD for the extras

I got teh SE version... 5.6gb install (prolly the same for reg version). I haven't tried the extras yet, but the headset feels pretty good.

i have found a very good deal on the SE version that makes it cheaper to get a dvd drive and that version that buy the game retail

I wouldn't try too hard to get the SE unless you really want those extras. You only have to juggle all the CD's once, for installing it, after that its the same as the DVD version.

Headset sounds like crap. But the DVD version is worth it just because it is one disc for the game. Not 6.

If you're at the store, and theyre both there, get the dvd version. Myself, I went to Best Buy last night, they were sold out of DVD version but they had plenty on CD versions so instead of waiting, I picked up the CD version. Installed w/o a prob and working wonderfully. (I have/had a headset already anyway)

Yes.. I just got the SE from BB... it was reg $40, on sale for $30, and it's $20 after the rebate for upgrading from 2k3!

I personally wouldn't go out ot the way for it. I already have a headset and don't mind switching a few CDs to do the install... But I guess it's up to you.

My DVD-ROM reads data about 20 times slower than my cd-rom can read from cd's so I would get the cd version.

The headset is absolute trash. I jsut sling it around my neck and try and use only the mic.
