Is it worth it to go from X-FI Xtreme Music to Xonar DS?

Fry's is having a sale on the Asus Xonar DS for $29.99. I have the Logitech Z-5500 speakers system and I wonder if the Asus Xonar DS would be better than my present Modded X-FI Xtreme Music in MP3 and lossless media playing?
I use analog connect direct 6 channel so DTS not supported on the Xonar DS is not a problem.
