IS it worth it to assimilate a 200mhz?

<< IS it worth it to assimilate a 200mhz? >>

Of course it is... not sure your mom would think it is, but that is secondary isn't it? 😉

For real tho' every MHZ counts, so if it's on anyways why not? 🙂

But i mean would i be able to even get one WU done by the time the race is over 😉 How much can i expect an output of this if its on for around 8 hours a day? My 850 only puts out a WU every 10 hours..... and this is less than 1/4 of the speed counting HD speed/bus speed etc....

I've got a PII 300 (the PII is significantly faster than a regular pentium due to architectural differences) and it completes a seti WU in roughly 24 hours... extrapolating from that I'd guesstimate somewhere between 30 and 40 hours per wu for that P200... not great, but it's still one WU more per working week than you'd have otherwise neh? 😉

I have a P200 sitting here that does one every 36-48 hours from what I remember. PPro 200s do one in 20-30 or so I think (haven't paid too much attention other than noticing my 6 way does 6 every 26 hours, give or take)

I have a P200MMX@233 and thought it would take too long for SETI, so I loaded ECCp on it, they need help too! 🙂

I used to have 200Mhz MMX laptop running seti ages ago. Used to take about 42 hours a WU.

Far better than my 233 K6-2 which runs 72hrs a WU.
