Is it worth installing quake 3 again?

last time i installed it and searched for servers in game there were barely any active ones..🙁
any of the mods worth checking out???

I don't care much for mods, I just play the base game. And there are plenty of active servers out there.

I didn't really like it, but the last time I played it is when the demo first came out (For Linux and Mac before Windows!) in like '98 or '99.

Install Unreal tournament and UT2003 and play a real game. 😀

i was playing hardcore up til mid 2000 or so.
i remember 3wave ctf.
what the hell,im going to install it.
i miss rocket jumps and railrocket combos...and strafe jumps 🙂
