Is it wierd that I let my dog lick the water off of my legs after I shower?

why cover your legs in dog slobber and bacteria right after stepping out of the shower? that's pretty gross/weird.

That's kind of nasty. You get yourself cleaned up, then get covered in dog spit :^/

SOME FACTS

Harmful dog germs are usually harmless for humans, unless we're talking about rabies, a disease that affects dogs and people in equally damaging ways. But generally, humans are immune to most dog germs. Likewise, human germs probably won't harm a dog. But human germs can harm humans, of course. So a bite from a human mouth full of harmful bacteria may very well be more damaging than a dog bite, even if the dog's mouth is full of harmful dog germs.

So, you are basically better off to have your dog stick its tongue in your mouth than for your wife to stick hers in it. Simply because chances are that the bacteria in her mouth are more likely to cause harm than your dogs.

urine isn't going to harm me either, but I wouldn't piss on my leg before getting dressed in the morning.

No! His dog slobber drying threatens the traditional and cherished institution of towel drying!

That's one thing I hate about living with ten cats. I hate stepping out of the shower and having a cat rub up against my wet legs. Bad leg feel. Once I'm dried off, I don't care.

Why do you guys have your pets with you in the bathroom when you shower?

My cats have run of the house. They come in when I take a shower. The girl paws at the shower door when I start(I don't know why), and the tom comes in after I'm finished to lick the water, and catch falling drops. He likes any water that doesn't come out of his bowl best :^D

I LOVE the tender concerns and quavering fears of the broad swath of the raised-in-a-sterile-box metrosexuals who infest this forum.

Dogs not constructed by Sony! Men naked in the locker room! Intense fear of ever using a public toilet!

My, my, my, how do you tender and delicate flowers manage to survive in this cruel, cruel world? :p
