You're acheap prick that doesn't have a clue about women and/or relationships.

I hope she reads this thread and bangs your boss in retaliation.

The fact that you would even consider making her pay 1/2 illustrates my point brilliantly.

Take responsibility for your own actions. It's not like she was giving you head in the car. Or was she? Then you should be paying her plus the ticket.

I told my girlfriend I would take her to work and we left the house a few minutes late. About half way to her work I went through an intersection that has one of those red-light camera's that give you tickets for either speeding or running a red light.

I think I was caught by the camera (Normally the camera flashes a bright light to illuminate the car, but it was 9:30 AM so I don't know if it didn't flash because because it didn't catch me, or if it just didn't flash because it was already pretty bright outside).

I was going 43 mph in a 37 (70 kmh in a 60).

Now given that it's my fault for going the speed I did without being told to do it, is it unreasonable for me to ask my girlfriend to pay half since I was only going that speed to get her to work on time? Or should I just suck it up and tell her that I don't care what the situation is from now on, I won't speed for any reason just to get her somewhere on time?

if you have any self-respect, you wont ask her to pay

Wait, am I the only one who noticed that he "thinks" he was caught by the camera? So, this would be completely based on the assumption that he would even receive a ticket in the first place?

I can't believe someone bumped this thread.

First, I never got a ticket. I wasn't going fast enough to trigger the camera.

Second, I spoke to my GF and told her that I wouldn't be speeding for her anymore.

Third, for everyone who says "Wow, you should be dumped" or "This relationship will fail" obviously don't know what a good relationship is all about. If someone gets angry about something, you can talk things over. Realize that people don't always say the things they want or mean. I feel sorry for you guys who have such petty relationships that a fight over something trivial ends the relationship.

Are you so tight on money? Money shouldn't matter in a relationship.
