Yeah, if you get the yellow I definately wouldn't also get a racing stripe. Who knows what kind of speeds that combination can achieve.

Well, I'm generally ok about being a good driver, I do speed about 10 mph over on freeways when conditions allow, but I watch for cops like a hawk. I don't run reds, no ca stops, etc. If you drive a yellow or red car, LMK! I want to hear experiences, I don't get want to get stuck for 5-10 years with a cop magnet.

LOL, actually in a weird way it can. The color/trim schemes work out that yellow doesn't come on the base trim, which is 12 hp less than the EX (top of the line).

Yeah it's a nice looking color around sunset, if you are ever at a dealership, check it out. Some people say it looks barfish in broad daylight though.

that's what I wanted to hear, I love the color! :D

I would say that yellow sticks out more than red does, but if you don't drive like a jerk then I don't see why either would pose a bigger risk to you.

well, if you have a yellow car with a white letters saying 'Type" and a big red R, think of the enormous amount of horse power gains you will have!

I'm searching for it now, but I know I read an article about 4-5 months ago where someone did a study on the colors of cars and how often police pulled them over. I think red was the highest and blue was the lowest. I'll link if I can find it.

I used to have a yellow car, and I got pulled over twice but never got a ticket. I have a green car now, and I have never been pulled over in it (had it 6 years). Knocks on wood... I have a yellow motorcyle, and I haven't been pulled over on it yet. Of course, I don't drive/ride like a madman, so that could have something to do with it.

That car color kinda looks like the sundance gold color of the Acura CL Type-S. I've seen the yellow CL-S, it does NOT look good in daylight IMO.

Red is very common now as a car color. Not many cars now don't have a red color option. Yellow on the other hand.......when I think of yellow I still think of sports cars like Ferrari's and Lamborghini's. Or the E36 M3. And to a lesser extent the Type-R.

charcoal grey... it blends into the night :)

I got sooo scared today, my friend and I were racing and right when we hit 150kph at the top of the hill, we saw a cop in front of us... we both hit the brakes like mad and fortunately, he didn't notice us behind him. I turned on the next right and stopped to catch a breather.

oh, and it was a 60 zone.

Yeah I will be the first the say that color isn't very pleasant in direct sunlight. But man once sunset/dark hits, it's beautiful. Man what a tradeoff. The first time I saw that color was when I was visiting a dealer in the evening, which probably explains why I am hooked :D

Yeah true that, yellow cars absolutely jump at you, you can see them a mile away. Thankfully this one isn't a bright color, but it is unusual and it does stand out.

eek, I'm cringing while reading that. I had a single car wreck not too long ago and it was compounded by my driving faster than I should have on a turn. It's fun and games when nothing happens, but if you wreck, there are very serious consequences, so be careful! Believe me when I say, one near death experience is one too many!
