I had pneumonia twice as a kid, one of the times I had to spend 30 days in bed. After that, every time I would run outside the house in the cold my mom would warn me that if I get pneumonia one more time there could be complications.

Right after I broke my neck, I got pneumonia repeatedly. Imagine: nurse lubing up a suction hose, sticking it up your nose, it follows the passage down, where it enters the lung and proceeds to suck the phlegm out. I got so tired of that, I had them put a trach in.
