Is it true that Dragon Age is only 2 hours long?

The main quest is probably 15 or 20 hours long. If you do all the sidequests it'll be around 50-60 total.

umm....no.

He might have meant each of the six origins is 35 min - 2hours long before you get into the meat of the game, which is similar for all classes, which is long even by bioware standards.

81 hours for my first playthrough. I did not do many side quests, but I did read a bunch of the codex entries and did plenty of convo's with party members at camp.

Ok thanks. I remember when I played Far Cry on Veteran, it took me 45 hours where on easy you could probably do it in 10-12 hours.

Dragon Age is one of the longest games I've ever played. I've put at least 40 hours into it and still am not finished and have plenty more to go.

LOL, I specifically did not buy this game because it was too long! I just assumed I would lose interest before getting through it.

which I did after like 50 hrs and I assume only a bit past the half way point :\ combat was getting boring and the story felt too much like generic high fantasy which isn't exactly my thing anyway (though I like D&D, not going into the differences). I did have fun though and will return to it.

so yeah op it most definitely is not 2 hrs long. that's preposterous 😀

Damn!
I never did Far Cry on Veteran. To me it always seemed that most shooters are pointless with multiple difficulty settings, since the game itself is exactly the same no matter what.
The exception to this is the best game ever: Doom.
On each difficulty the objects were different (keys, barrels, ammo, enemies, etc.). In fact you could have a completely different game on each difficulty by changing the key placement and making players work extra hard to get them.
Also, on Nightmare the enemies respawned, which could make the game totally ridiculous after a while.

As for RPG's I find changing the difficulty doesnt often matter if you are a good player and know what to do. The one exception I can think of KOTOR 2. Changing to a higher difficulty actually improved the quality of loot in random treasure.

How the hell could you have thought that was a real review? It tells you twice that its a review of a game thats not even released.

OP = Fail

OP, of course. It just depends on how you "play" it. Even Fallout3 can be "won" in under 40 minutes.

Of course if you want to maximize your enjoyment, you can play for 100s of hours per playthru.

The morons that comment on youtube, are the surest indicator that civilization is doomed.

Maybe the guy that said it was two hours long was playing it on the 360. I read that it's a MUCH easier game on the xbox then the PC.
