Is it too much of a card? Which one?

Ive made up my mind and I am upgrading my video card. PC specs are as follow:

P4 2.4B
Gigabyte PE-667 ULTRA
512 2700 DDR XMS Corsair
ATI 9800NP
(2) 80GB drives
(2) Optic drives

I built this PC a while ago, and I guess is not near the edge anymore, but I feel my PC is plenty fast, but the video card doesnt let me enjoy the eye candy I am craving now :)

Is it too much of a video card for my rig?

I was looking at these:
-VGA Chaintech Geforce 6800 GT 256MB
-A400 GT TDH Leadtek NVIDIA GeForce 6800GT
-ELSA nVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT
-BFG nVidia GeForce 6800 GT OC

Im curious how similar they are if any of them have issues, or if one is recommended over the other. I dont need no flashy extras (a game would be nice, but not necessary) and this video card will be strictly on a gaming rig (so no need for any extra outputs).

Im leaning towards the BFG one just because it comes over clocked out of the box, but is also $30 more than the others.

Should I just go for the cheapest one instead?

If I were you I go to the "for sale forums" and pick up a 6800gt for about $250.00 and grab a cheap stick of 512, 27oo ram. Can you overclock that board?
