Is it too late for Microsoft to change the name from XBox 360 to XBox 2?

Isn't XBox 360 the same thing as XBox because when you turn the XBox 360 degrees in any direction, it comes back to the original position.

I think Microsoft's concern is - and it's justified - that people might think the PS3 iss better because the number is higher. Of course, MS would get laughed at if they made an Xbox 3, because there's been no Xbox 2. But they can get away with Xbox 360, which still has the digit "3" right after Xbox.

I think both Sony and MS may go away from numbers for the next version... a la Adobe going to Photoshop CS instead of Photoshop 8.
