Is it too early for Christmas movies?

There are two good Christmas movies coming out this weekend that I wouldn't mind seeing, but I feel that it's too early for such movies.

Anyone else feel that way, or will you be seeing Love Actually and/or Elf this weekend?

I'm more in the "Let's wait to see those until after Thanksgiving and GIMME ROTK and Master & Commander NOW, DAMNIT" mood!

Yes, too early. I can't wait for sirius (sat radio) to start playing Christmas music after Thanksgiving...and I can't wait for Christmas itself! But it's more fun if you wait until around Thanksgiving so you're not sick of Christmas stuff by the time it comes. Christmas is by far my favorite time of year, not only because it's my birthday, but also because I just love the atmosphere and mood that comes with Christmas, along with the snow! I can't wait...

I love Christmas just as much, but I feel that if you wait till after Thanksgiving, it's over way too fast. Four weeks may be sufficient for the average person, but my entire year revolves around wonderful, glorious Christmas (quote from "A Christmas Story"), so I like to lengthen it a bit. I don't have decorations up yet, but I have to get my station ready around Oct 1st. My listener base has been building since then, and I'm up to about 50 simultaneous listeners per day. And I did buy the "It's A Wonderful Life" village pieces at Walgreen's yesterday, as I don't think last year's Series 1 pieces will last long.
