On the FS/FT forums currently there are a total 8 sticky posts. One sticky is about an Amazon webpay update which happened in October of 2015. One "game exchange" thread which has a total of four posts in 2016. And three "FS/FT" sticky posts regarding the rules for trading.
All 8 of these stickies can be updated and consolidated into a total TWO stickies. There is a phenomenom of Internet forums called information glut or "information overload." Basically, this means the more information a person receives, the less likely they are able to process it.
So why is this important to FS/FT? Well, every week the admins have to lock a new user's thread due to them not following the rules and listing an email address. This demonstrates new users aren't reading the rules stickies.
My suggestion is the following: take down the 2015 Amazon sticky, it's been long enough. Consolidate all 3 rules stickies into a single sticky. Consolidate the two bad trader stickies into a single post. Make the game exchange a regular thread - no reason this needs to be stickied (look at H Forums Free Stuff thread that is regularly updated and bumped).
Doing this creates two stickies that new users are more likely to look at. I believe that will make the FS/FT forums here much more efficient.
