I think it would be nice to let that one fall and get a new one going. Not thats it not a good thread, dont get me wrong. But the thing is almost a year old, the first couple pages of posts are by this point pretty well outdated in terms of any usefulness.
Would it be a good idea to start a new "So fresh n so clean" Unemployment thread?
Oh, and no, *I* dont want to start it! The original poster is doing just fine.

The old posts may no longer have any usefulness other than showing the History of this era that the "Official" Economists are not even calling a Recession anymore. Many people continue to post any News of jobs that they personally know about or have heard about. There was an Off Site Free web page created to augment the thread that has the ability of showing "Fresh" posts also in Geographic regions. More people would benefit from using it if they feel overwhelmed by the size of the thread. It is easy to click on last page too to get to the latest postings.

It is so sad that the thread and this situation has lasted as long as it has with no end in sight despite some News reports that did try and say things were turning around only to be slammed with more Closures and sending of Jobs overseas. The bleeding continues.

That is why I started a DEPRESSION thread in P&N. Economists refuse to say it but I did. I've gotten quite a bit of flak from people that believe the Economists, a couple of News stories and other Political sources, that I will not mention, that the Economy is actually pulling out of Recession and will be perfectly fine in 6 months from now. As the old saying goes "I'll believe that when I see it".
