IS it the MOBO or HD?

Im putting together my new rig and came to aproblem.
ECS k7s5a
IBM 80GB 60GXP
XP 1700+
These are the only things installed. My mobo is not detecting my HD. When it searchers for it, I hear a BEEp BEEP sound comming from HD. Do I have a Bad Hd?
 
Try botting with out HDD and cable hooked to the mob,it should POST and you can run the BOIS,if not mob is bad,if it boots and POSTS it's the HDD
