Is it the game or the laptop???

You might think "Oh no, not another Oblivian question!" But anyway, on my Asus ROG J73JH 6 gig ram, i7-720QM, Radeon 5870m, when I repeat the same action over and over to level skills quickly in Oblivian (about 5-10 minutes), the keyboard keys make a clicking sound and no longer work. Any action on the mouse works fine, but I have to restart the computer by shutting it down. Back in the game, and everything works fine. Just curious as to what causes this...it's a minor annoyance, and I've learned not to repeat the same action too many times. I THINK it might be some memory problem, but not sure. Any ideas as to what's causing this and has this happened to anyone else?
