Does anybody make a large format scanner? I have car brochures that I would like to scan and they are bigger than 8 x 11

Aquarium magazines? Like fish and stuff? What makes you think the library will want them? ;)

if you can find a high speed document scanner available for rent somewhere, and get adobe acrobat, you can scan that stuff really fast. and make it fully test searchable.

might just be faster to get a lexis nexis subscription for just that mag, though.

I am actually going to try to do it all on my Canon 670U scanner :D If it lasts then maybe I can get a spokesmen type deal like Jared did for Subway :D ;)

Sure you can't take it with you but you never know when you are going to need a certain article. Also I will be saving myself tons of storage space & I can pass the mags onto someone else :)

A database/index is also in the works :) for easy refencing of articles :D

Wow, that's quite a few magazines. I know what you mean though. When my father passed he had every single issue of FAMA, TFH, Ocean Salt (Was that the name of the little magazine that came with the boxes of salt?), and some other older ones I don't recall the name of. I ended up just giving them all to a few of his friends that were aquarium enthiuaists also.

Ah Now I remember. Instant Ocean was the name of the salt mix.
