Yep, that was really the only reason to do it. I always forgot what my current parts were too, so it was an easy reference for myself as well.

yeah this was one reason that i thought about putting it on. when i am not lazy i might put it up. also i like to see what computers that people have

Same. It got annoying having to list it in posts, so I put the information people need to know in the sig for discussion of game performance, solving issues etc.
 
Of course it's still cool.
