Is it Standard time or Daylight time right now

I'd have thought you were right - fall back in order to get an extra hour of daylight in the winter - but according to Kenazo's post it's the other way around.

For most of the US, it is daylight time. In the land that time forgot (most of Indiana) it is standard time. EST year around here.

It had something to do with the farmers not wanting to change clocks or something.
