Can i use tape to stick the unused cables on my psu to the top of my case, or will they melt or lose their stick?
 
No not to hold the cables together, just to stick them up at the top so i dont see them. And i dont wanna pay 3 or 4 bucks to buy zip tie mounts if i can just use tape. Any other thing that id have it home work?
 
Duct tape will last a long time. Otherwise go down to your nearest hardware store and pick up a 4 pack of what MS Dawn suggests to use.
