is it safe to trust auto adjust in Zoom Browser(Canon) to always make the pic better?

I just got my first DSlR and I installed the ZB software. I don't have Photoshop and I just use the auto adjust feature, is this a safe bet most of the time?

Anything is safe as long as you play with copies of your image files and leave the originals untouched.

sure. you may also want to try google's picasa software. is it always better? no. but a lot of times it helps.

Often, I use the auto-fix function in software just to give me an idea for edits, or to see how much latitude I have with an image.
