Is it safe to send a certified check to an store ?

Hi. the only place I find that have IBM 75 GXP drives in Canada is PCcanada.com in Ontario. Well, they only accept certified checks. Is it safe ? I mean, who knows if they will just take it and don't deliver ? 😉

 
If they don't accept credit cards don't even shop there.
there are plenty stores where you can get it from.
try ncix.com or dealsdirect.com
 
Gotta agree with Nic here, if you use a CC you can always dispute the charges if the company tries to screw you.
 
CC are the only safe way to order on the net or by mail, never use anything else.

--never should be clarified, if you are doing trades or fleabay purchases you are dealing with an individual that can't take plastic, the rule is caveat emptor.
