If it was going to explode, it would be from the liquid content freezing. Ever put a soda(can) in the freezer?

huh?
the liquid in the container does expand, but because there is a pocket of air there is enough room to accomodate expansions. and as we "all" know, gases compress or expand to fill their container so you odn't have to worry about that. (only under extreme pressure and heat do they cause rapid expansion)
