Is it safe to place my pc subwoofer right next to my pc?

I was wondering because I just re-arranged my room and now have 2 computers and 2 monitors on one desk. And I have 2 speaker sets so I am lacking space so I put the subwoofers right next to the PC's... I know you shouldnt put your subwoofer right next to your monitor however I was concerned if it could effect components or my pc itself.

Also is it ok to to stack 2 subwoofers one right on top of each other? Sure would save what little space I have in my small room.

Most (if not all) subwoofers are magnetically shielded. If this is done properly (by the mfgr.) you
should not have problems with locating it near the PC. Actually though, it is placement close to the monitor
that would be more likely to give you difficulties. (Again, a decently shielded speaker => no problem)

I wouldn't stack the subs though. You will end up with combinations of the (mechanical) resonances
which will affect the sound. (I didn't address combination of the sound waves (air) because that is going
to happen no matter where you put them.)

sorry, but subwoofers are almost NEVER sheilded

THe speakers are however, and that is why they have no adverse affects on your monitor, and subwoofers do...

As for your case, the aluminum does agood job of sealing it up, but even more importantly, HDs are magnetically sheilded to prevent a data catastrophe

P.S> I had my klipsch 16oWattt RMS sub under my case for two weeks..no problem whatsoever

It shouldn't be a problem. However the 500 watt sub sitting close to my TV needs to be moved, but I'm too lazy to do it as I'd have to buy a new interconnect.
