Well, I have this buyer who asks tons of questions and at the end asks what the system identifier code is. He said he wants to make sure what exactly he is buying. I dunno what he can do with that code so I am not feeling comfortable with giving him the code. So is it safe to give him the code? What can he possibly do with the code? Will he have access to the price I paid for it?

If by system identifier code you mean the system asset tag then yes it is safe to give it to him. He can use this information on the Dell website to ascertain the system's hardware configuration and warranty.

I see a few codes underneath. Is it the service tag he is looking for or express service code? Service tag has 7 digit and alphabet. Express service code has 11 or 12 digit numbers.

The Service Tag is all he would really need. The Express service number is not needed to view a configuration.

You have some nerve being suspicious about somone else's intentions when you yourself are an ADMITTED criminal who ran down an old woman while driving without auto insurance.
