Is it safe to delete TMP files in winnt\system folders? - Win2K

Basically i freak out when i see loads of small files(<1k) taking up loads of clusters.

Are all tmp files safe to delete, or does it matter where they are.

Poota does warn me about deleting them, but what the hell?

i always delete them and i have never run into a problem
