Hey all,
I've got a refurb mobo I need to test out tonight before NewEgg's return policy expires. Here's my idea: I'm going to set my LanBoy on the desk, open the case, and run the power cables to the mobo with video card & CPU installed to test it out; also going to hook up an old HDD and load Windows.
are there any issues I should be aware of with a mobo just sitting on a wooden desk? I would imagine grounding wouldn't apply seeing as wood isn't conductive
Thanks in advance!!
