Is it remotely possible that a GF3 Ti200 could handle WoW @ 1680x1050?

I don't really want to wait to pick up a new video card before I jump into WoW, so I was wondering if what I have now would be able to push that resolution, or any moderately high widescreen res.

Thanks,

If you can afford to drop $50 on a new game then pay $15 a month for said game, then you can afford a new video card to play said game. Don't waste your money.

The GF3's are DirectX 8.0 - not even 8.1 - slightly primitive by Dx9 standards. The Ti 450's or 500's wouldn't be quite as sluggish for frame rates, but Ti-200's were not "fast", even when new. I have had one for a couple of years, just lost the fan on it. I think it is able to run with just a heat sink, though.

If my x700pro can barely do 1600x1200, than you're screwed. Get a new video card, get a nice 9700pro/9800pro off of the for sale/trade forums or ebay. Or just get a 6600gt and be even happier.

It is as much about the CPU with WoW, even a 6800U bonks if the CPU is a slug text

I have the original GF3.. its not bad.. about as fast as a GF2 Ultra with DX8 support.

Which in my old age, GF2 Ultra speeds were pretty decent. And will still hack games today.. but its getting on with the years.

Get a 6600GT AGP.
