Is it really that hard to use a turn signal?

When you are switching lanes on a busy highway...is it that much of a hassle to move your hand 3 inches and flip the turn signal?

funny, seems all the americans that come over here can't seem to figure out:

a) how to signal
b) how to properly utilize the left lane
c) how to modulate the gas pedal in such a way that you aren't annihilating the speed limit by 70 km/h.

Most americans drive with the gas and brake following the same operations: "ON" or "OFF"

this guy behind me kept doing it...I was in the left lane, doing about 75-80(well over the speed limit already), and he kept trying to get into the other lane to pass me...normally I'd either move or slow down so he could pass, but he kept going back and forth(at least 25 times) without signaling...so just for that every time he would move into the right lane I'd speed up just enough to block him from passing me....probably pissed him off...but if he'd just use his turn signal I would have let him go

Some people prolly think it's giving away your next move to the drivers around you. You don't wanna give up that "advantage"...

Seems most over-aggressive drivers do that... right before they either cut you off and squeeze you out.
And then there are just some doofballs that have their rear taillamps blown so if they do signal, nothing shows... that would be those people that forget to change their oil.

And, I hate people who don't use turn signals...don't even have to take one's hand off the steering wheel...stretch out a couple of fingers and flip the damn thing.

And, I hate people who are behind me and see me flip on my turn signal to get in the left lane to pass a slower car in front of me and then shoot into the left lane when it's clear and keep me from getting over. And this guy today, of course, didn't use his own turn signal so when I timed the gap coming up the left lane I ended up cutting him off. Moron.

Unfortunately yes. My simple soluton is to just plow into them and destroy their car, however this annoying thing called the law gets in the way.

well technically, if they cut you off when doing it, you should be able to keep going and plow into them...they should be ruled at fault cuz they pulled into your lane without signalling
