Is it really necessary to secure DVD cases with THREE stickers?

You know, those adhesive nightmares called "SECURITY DEVICE ENCLOSED" on all 3 edges of a DVD case? I mean wouldn't one stick be enough?

As much as I really enjoy trying to peel all THREE of them off without damaging the packaging I really think we need a change here. I mean isn't the first line of defense, shrinkwrap, good enough? 😛

If there were a mere two security stickers, I would be able to steal any DVD. That's why.

LOL yeah right I'm in a store trying to rip them off while typing in OT. 🙂

It's terribly inconvenient. VCR tapes could be yanked from the sleeve in seconds. It takes a couple of minutes to get a DVD ready to play. I'm an American. I can't wait that long without complaining.

just use a knife and cut around the seam and pull them off in 6 peices works every time for me

Real pain in the neck..I've damaged a few dvd boxes trying to get that crap off.....🙁

I don't mind. I never had a problem and find that they come off easily.
