Is it possible...

to only get car insurance for a few months. I only want to drive when I'm at home from school in the summer and dont wanna pay insurance for the rest of the year. Is this possible? If anyone knows it would be a great help.

yeah you pay monthly, but you're comitted to pay for the full yearor 6 months i guess. like a cell phoen contract.

but i would really like to only pay for 2 to 3 months...kinda strapped for cash

No you're not. You stop paying, they stop insuring you.
