Is it possible?

Manipulate how you think by pushing the blood in your brain to different areas? I was listening to this "brain repair" cd and it basically claimed that by using different frequencies and following the spoken guidance you could train your brain as a muscle, and get good enough that you could focus and push blood around in your brain.

I'm a little skeptical, and definatley naive to the truth about the possibility, but after trying the exercises, and for example, focusing on the front part of my brain between my eyes, I definately feel different and more aware. But if I focus on the back of my brain, I sometimes feel like less "aware" and more in a deep thought state of mind.

the tape has just tricked you into thinking you feel one way or another by thinking about a certain part of the brain. it's subliminal... don't believe what they say! It's like a sugar pill for the mind 😛

The large and consistent amounts of LSD that I did in college has nothing to do with this. Nothing at all.

Supposedly through biofeedback and some strange techniques people can be taught to do this. I don't know how legitimate it is.

if that sh1t intrests you

read the book "Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World" by Haruki Murakami - its a fiction book but has those exact elements as a main part of the story

Murakami is such a great author

Yeah, with biofeedback people, like monks, can control almost all of their body, like making their arm hairs stand on end. 🙂
