As long as they are both certified for SMP configs, it shouldn't be an issue. Like two Opteron 250s?

well one is an intel celeron....no idea if it is certified, or where i would find out....

To the best of my knowledge, only the first Celerons (Mendicino core??) were SMP capable, but not officially certified. This was big with the release of the Abit BP6. Speeds (socket 370) were 300 thru 533 IIRC.
