is it possible to use yahoo calendar for active desktop

i'm running winxp sp2, ie7

steps i took:
turned on active desktop (right click desktop, properties desktop, customize desktop,
under webtab, added and clicked on 'http://calendar.mail.yahoo.com/'

clicked on make available offline
entered password


desktop only showed sign in to yahoo! and still require resigning and calendar pops
up in a new browser window
