Is it possible to use a PCI-E x16 Gen 1.1 card on this motherboard M5A78L-M LE?

Hello,

Can you please let me know if this PCI-E x16 Gen 1.1 video card - ATI FireGL V5200 - can be used on this motherboard - ASUS M5A78L-M LE?

The video card spec states it is PCIe X16 Gen 1.1 but the mother board spec simply states it is PCIe x16, there is no mention of Gen.
