Is it possible to use a M-ATX motherboard in an ATX case?

The title says it all. Is it possible to use a M-ATX mobo in an ATX case with out doing any modifications?

matx is atx, just shorter. so yes.

I've done it several times with no problem--can't see how it could.

In general, you should be OK- the only issue is that some cheaper or older boxes might not have board mounting holes in the right places for matx. It's also possible to have i/o shield issues, but that's not because of the atx vs matx issue....
