Well to try to actually be helpful Q), do you have any experience with music? Playing an instrument, anything?

xbox + karaoke revolution.

i'm not sure how much it'll help, but there's a little indicator that'll tell you if you're on key or not, and how much your pitch is off. It's the only visual feedback system for singing that I can think of.
