Is it possible to switch motherboards - an 850 for an 850e (I think) in two Dimension 8200s?

Here's the scenario: buddy has two Dimension 8200s; one of them is a P4 1.8 with a FSB of 400MHz. The other is a P4 2.4 with a FSB of 533 MHz.

Now, if he switches only the motherboard, along with the chipset obviously, would he need to do anything else? The systems are virtually identical except for the motherboard.. thanks!

I would guess that this would work. Check out the front panel connectors and the power supply connector. If they are the same on both systems you are probably golden.
