so i have 2 networks that want to stay independent as far as the internet and other shared stuff are concerned, but i was wondering if it was possible just to share a printer?

Is it even possible to be connected to 2 networks at the same time?

I also would like to set up a shared network drive if thats possible (i figure that if the printer is possible then a shared drive should be too)

This depends on if you have a router between the two networks, and if you've configured that router to route between those two networks. What's your existing setup like?

Sure, as long as the IP ranges don't overlap.

If you have one computer with two Network cards and a Windows version that can do Bridging.

Actually if he wants to keep the networks separate he doesn't want bridging. As long as he's got 2 NICs and MS' printer and file sharing doesn't get confused he should be fine.
