Is it possible to set hotkeys in the following ways?

I'm using XP home and I was wondering if it were possible to set hotkeys so that I could change my monitor's resolution?

Also would it be possible to set hotkeys so that I can "show hidden files" without having to click through all those options? Gotta hide the good stuff

It's absolutely possible. Numerous applications exist that can turn anything you want to do into a keyboard shortcut.

I usually write my own with AutoIt.
