Is it possible to send a text message to a US Cellular phone that has analog service (not digital)?

A friend of mine said that she received a text message on her analog US Cellular phone but she doesn't know how it was sent to her.


any ideas?

you can use an sms-to-email service. there are some free ones out there. google.com.

I've seen those SMS to email services but I can't seem to find one that will send a message to US Cellular.

Do you mean something like text to phone?? Or was she getting some weird message like "low batt?"

Yes it was a text message. Something like, "so what's up tonight?"

She doesn't know how it was sent to her.
