Is it possible to see the final NCAAF BCS rankings?

the only purpose of the bcs rankings is to determine which two teams match up for the bcs championship game, and what teams that are not conference winners might have some sort of automatic bid. thus, they are useless after the bowls are matched up.

we'll note that the computers were right, ranking texas #1 almost unanimously for much of the season

Well that just bites The BCS is useless. At least they got the two best teams in the final match this year.

the bcs does exactly what was intended to do, match up a #1 and a #2 to play for a title game within the existing bowl system. now, the fact that often there isn't a clear cut #1, (see 2004 and 2003) much less a clear cut #2 (see 2002, 2001, 2000, etc) is not the fault of the system, but rather the parity of college football.
