Back over the Memorial Day weekend there was this James Bond movie back to back special on one of the Starz channels I watched. I recall thinking while watching them that Mike Meyers really captured the humerous essence of those villians with Dr Evil.

Is it possible to say "billions" without immitating Carl Sagan?

Im afraid I am not familiar with that expression.

Sorry. I must be dating myself. You'd have to have been alive in the early 80s to know what I'm talking about.
🙂
That is exactly what I thought when I read the thread title. I even wondered if this was a parody of a Sagan thread.

For those younguns who don't know who we is:
Text
"From Cosmos and his frequent appearances on The Tonight Show, Sagan became associated with the catch phrase "billions and billions." (He never actually used that phrase in Cosmos, but his distinctive delivery and frequent use of billions made this a favorite phrase of Johnny Carson and others doing the many affectionate impressions of him. Sagan took this in good humor, and his final book was entitled Billions and Billions - see below.) The humorous unit of the Sagan has now been coined to stand for any count of at least 4,000,000,000."

Its obvious to me and coutless others that Michael Myers and the MPAA have severly disrupted our dialect with the "Austin Powers Movies" A class action should be in progress.

And by the way those requesting Sharks and Mice with Laser beams will only receive Mutated Sea Bass.

There is that capitol random words problem again.
