Is it Possible to Run a Duron 1.3ghz with a 266mhz FSB?

FYI you should have gotten a duron 1ghz (new core w/SSE) and just set that 1.33 (266fsb) that works

not really. and morgan core duron 1.3 is supposedly hard to unlock. plus you are not likely to run this chip on a board with adjustable multiplier. so if you mean running at 13 x 133 = 1733 then no, its basically impossible without voltage adjustments and really, really good cooling.

not possible most likely (unless you are using phase change, then it may be) without dropping mult

well, basically I was planning on doing it by dropping the multiplier. I'm basically just holding onto the processor till prices on the Athlon XPs drop quite a bit. I don't want to deal with overclocking, I'm shooting for a quiet system this time. It'd be nice if it didn't sound like a helicopter was hoverring over my room all the time ;)
