Is it possible to remove small scratches on LCD?

I really should have put a screen protector on it, but now there are all these faint little scratches. Is there a product that will remove these light faint scratches from the LCD without damaging it??

I know there's a similar product for ipods, but not sure about for my digital camera.

Canon SD300.

Thanks!

Maybe you can use some JB Weld. Paul Harvey says it'll fix anything.

Otherwise, call up Canon and order a replacement LCD. They're $27 from their parts dept. It just takes a little tinkering and a small phillips screwdriver to replace it. (I know this from personal experience when I cracked mine)

just wanted to update this thread and say that after trying the product, I made the scratches on my LCD WORSE. =(

ugh, I guess i'm just going to have to live with a scratched up LCD on my digital camera. Shoulda put on a screen protector... =(

I guess you can order the replacement panel then? $27 sounds pretty reasonable to me

some 50-grit sandpaper will take that right off 😀

go for the replacement lcd, they're rather cheap and rather easy to DIY

Buying digicams with cracked LCDs is a STEAL!
