Is it possible to reference the middle of an anandtech thread with anandtech html?

Older versions, 2.x I think, would sort of do this. The starting post # could be specified in the URL.

It's possible if you dig through the HTML to find the <a name=...> for the post.

Like this...

Edit: Just discovered that you can find the individual message ID by hovering over the printer icon of a post (for "print this message).

Of course, this breaks down in a long thread, since everyone can have different numbers of posts per page.
