is it possible to record my entire screen

Is there a program (prefereably free) that would allow me to record what's going on my screen and soundcard into a avi/mpg file? Pretty much like what FRAPS does except I want it to be able to record something i'm doing in windows, instead of a 3d game.

I think Windows Media Encoder 9 can do it. Go to microsoft.com and search the download area.

oh lol wow. i already have win encoder 9, i just use it for converting files. Didn't even think to look there for screen captures.

EDIT: i'm having some problems...I have dual monitors and i only want to record my SECOND monitor -_-;
