Is it possible to print directly from a PocketPC to a USB printer?

Was downloading some printer drivers and noticed that there weren't any for PocketPC. I've never owned a handheld, but does this mean that it's difficult to print directly from a PDA to a printer?

You can with infrared (IR) and the laser printers that support it, I think. I've never tried printing from mine before. However, USB is probably out of the question, as most PDAs don't have USB ports 😉

I could be wrong, however. I'm sure someone will link to a Compact Flash printer adaptor.

Lastly, you may get decent results using Bluetooth.

This is essentially one of things Bluetooth was designed to address. If your printer supports a USB Bluetooth module (or better yet, has Bluetooth built in) and your PocketPC supports Bluetooth, you print that way. But generally you can't do a direct USB connection between a PocketPC and a printer. The manufacturer would have to write a driver for it.
