Is it possible to "port" my apps from one laptop to a new one? (like Titanium backup)

After using my current laptop for the last five years, i'm gonna be upgrading by buying a new one. I've been spoiled by Android's Titanium Backup app where you can save a copy of all your apps and then just transfer them to a new phone or ROM and be on your way. I have a lot of apps, specifically work related ones that I will dread reconfiguring on the new laptop. What options do I have regarding this?

Totally apples and oranges. What OS are you using? Laptop programs require a lot of hooks and links involving the Registry if using Windows. Droids don't operate that way. If the new laptop is the same brand as the old, chances are a lot better.

If you are on Win7 or Win8, the closest you can get to what you want is Windows Easy Transfer. I used it recently and was shocked at how good it was. It backs up your data and windows settings. You can even tweak specific directories to backup. With the laptops in the same network, you can even directly transfer from one to the other.

After which it will generate a file summarizing the apps you need to install.
