Is it possible to play games on dual monitors?

With OpenGL games I've heard you can. Not sure about DirectX, but probably? (Use the game's custom width/height function, both HL2/COD2 have them I think.) And enable span in dual-monitor config.

yeah but if u did that, would the cross hair be like right in between the two screens either split half n half or hidden altogether?

really in games you want 1 or 3 monitors, because 2 is gunno disjoint the game, all the action goes on infront of you and your gonna miss it or get annowyed at it becuase the center is now split in half by 2 LCD bezels

with 3 monitors you have your normal view right infront as you would normally, and then the 2 other monitors provide with some good peripheral vision

In Quake 3 you can adjust the position of the crosshair, and maybe COD2 as well since it's very closed related in terms of console commands due to its predecessor using the Q3 engine.

DONT STOP AT 2 MONITORS! GET 3!!!!

Just the thought of having 3 monitors for games like Farcry and HL2....wow

That would be truely amazing to try out some day!

It's possible but the support is very limited. Basically the game and the video card drivers have to support it. Even Parhelia can only do a handful of games on 3 displays.
